If you haven't stopped in yet, here's the short version of who we are: we're a family-run coffee shop with two spots in Utah, one in Sandy and one in Salt Lake City near Foothill Drive, minutes from the University of Utah. We make specialty espresso drinks, a Thai iced tea that's become our house favorite, and sweet and savory crepes made to order. Breakfast and lunch run all day, because we know not everyone wants eggs at 7am and a sandwich at noon on the dot.
What we care about most is pretty simple. Good coffee, made the same way every time. Food that's actually made fresh when you order it, not sitting under a heat lamp. And a place that feels like yours the second time you walk in, because we remember your face, and pretty soon we remember your order.
What a first visit feels like
You walk up to the counter and there's no pressure to know exactly what you want. If you've never had Thai iced tea, we'll tell you why people keep coming back for it. If you're debating a crepe, we make them to order, sweet or savory, so you can build something that actually sounds good to you instead of picking off a laminated menu of options that don't quite fit.
Regulars tend to have their thing. Some people are all-espresso, same drink every morning, don't even have to say it out loud anymore. Others rotate between a latte and the Thai iced tea depending on the day. And there are the crepe people, who treat the menu like a small adventure every time they come in.
Two neighborhoods, two personalities
Our Sandy location, near 1300 East and 8500 South, is the original. It's a neighborhood stop — families on their way somewhere, remote workers who post up for a few hours, people who live close enough to walk. It has that easy, everybody-kind-of-knows-everybody feeling.
Salt Lake City is newer, on Foothill Drive on the East Bench, just a short trip from the University of Utah. It draws a different crowd — students between classes, people out for a walk in the park who duck in for a drink, folks who work nearby. Same coffee, same crepes, different rhythm.
